Welcome to Rhoda’s Designs from the Heart

Rhoda’s Designs from the Heart is a home based business; formed after I found how much I enjoy bringing my passions and visions to life.

However, what I found out was running a business, being a sole-proprietor, an entrepreneur, or whatever label you want to use is way harder and takes up much more time than I would ever have imagined in my wildest dreams!  It left so little time for creative pursuit, and the current economy had a less than favorable impact on the balance sheet.

While I haven’t quite figured it all out, I do know the business endeavor is over – the online sales, newsletters and blog discontinued.  I will craft, but for personal pleasure and for those I love or love what I do.  I started this business because of the great joy I found in designing and creating – that passion is still there.  I doubt it will ever leave me!

My hope is that I can find a way to give back some of my good fortune.  I will be seeking volunteer opportunities where my personality, skills and desire to help others can be of the most benefit.
